There are some astounding efforts by people all over the country to raise money for nationwide and local charities. The latest one I have heard about has come from a Chorley Football Club supporter. Neil Hailwood, along with several other cyclists are getting on their bikes from Skipton to Chorley along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, in aid of Derian House Childrens Hospice and Clic Sargent Cancer Care For Children.
Exactly 100 days from now, Neil and his ‘team’ will embark on their journey along the canal. Help make their trip worthwhile by sponsoring them, every penny counts! You can visit their sponsor page to donate, Neil has created a Facebook event for the ride which has attracted 18 other participants.
